Workers
This section of the LSCB website provides information for people working in any organisation or agency working with children or families.
The New South West Multi Agency Child Protection Procedures were launched in February 2007 and can now be accessed under the Procedures tab. Wiltshire are proud to have worked with 10 other Local Authorities in the South West to provide consistent guidance. All staff of all agencies should follow these procedures, together with government guidelines upon which they are based, 'Working Together to safeguard children' HM Govt 2006. For quick reference to report abuse, please use the 'What to do' flowchart which lists contact details to report child abuse. PDF documents are accessible in the list opposite.
